Hyunah Kim Art offers only museum quality paintings that are 100% guaranteed to be hand-painted with oil and acrylic paints on Italian canvas by professional artists from start to finish.

what kind of materials do you use for artwork?
CANVAS – I’m using ultra thick, acid free, triple primed fine cotton canvas, skillfully woven from high-grade, 100% cotton yarns.
STRETCHER BARS – First quality precision-cut kiln dried solid pine wood bar that are made in USA. The best bars to use for a clean modern Gallery Stretching / Museum Stretching finish.
PAINT & VARNISH – I use the best acrylic / oil paint with strong pigment, paint my painting with a matt varnish that provides UV filtering and protects the art from environmental pollutants.
is your painting a giclée or print?
Nope, they are all 100% hand-painted. Part of Hyunah’s collection is available on Art Print section as a high-quality art print by Art.com. Except that section, all paintings are 100% hand-painted by Hyunah Kim.
does a painting come with a frame?
Nope, a painting does not include Canvas floater frame. If you want to frame your art, please go to the Frame Option page and purchase the frame you want. We will send you framed artwork.
can i purchase your painting as a print?
We do not print and sell my paintings except for the prints in the Art Print section. The Art Print section also does all of my sales at Art.com, not my own prints.
what is the largest size I can get?
We offer a wide range of sizes, shapes and color schemes. You can order any of our paintings any size up to 84" (213cm). You could check all available sizes in the list.
The paintings can be created in square and rectangular. If you cannot find a perfect size for your space, please contact us for a custom size request. We will gladly make any of our paintings according to your wishes, in your custom size.
what's the difference between "Stretched" and "Unstretched"?
"Unstretched" - the same painting on canvas that will come to you rolled in a tube. In this case you'll have to stretch this canvas in the nearest art store or framing shop.
"Stretched" - it’s a painting on canvas that will be stretched on the wooden bars, ready for hanging.
will the painting come signed with a certificate of authenticity?
Yes, all paintings will be signed by the artist, Hyunah Kim. Usually we sign the painting at the right bottom corner. Please let us know if you want a painting without a signature. In addition, we always add to the order a certificate of authenticity.
can I hang the painting just stretched without a frame? Will the edges be painted?
Yes, all our paintings are gallery wrapped. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides of the stretcher bars and is secured to the back of the wooden frame.The edges will be painted as a continuation of the painting, so you could hang it just stretched without extra framing.
can I get a custom or personalized order?
Yes, please email us a request at info@hyunahkimart.com or contact us and we will do our best to make your dream come true!
We will make adjustments to the painting according to the color scheme of your interior. Feel free to share photos and color samples you like. We always show photos of the painting once it is ready. You will be able to express your comments and we will make the required changes. Also you can order a sketch of the future painting and check how the colors will look together.
orders and returns
do i need an account to place an order?
It is not necessary to create an account, you can use a guest account to place an order. Please fill out your personal details when checking out, for us to know where to send the package.
what payment methods are accepted?
We offer secure payment via PayPal, Apply Pay, Google Pay, Meta Pay. Shop Pay. We also accept credit card payments (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover). We do not accept wire transfer, venmo, zelle, personal check or money order.
And we start working on the painting after one full payment while placing the order.
You have the option to pay 50% now and then the remaining 50% after the painting will be ready before shipping. If you would like to pay in this way, please contact us so that we’ll prepare a special invoice for you.
Also you could split your payment into 4 parts. To do this, please, follow the next steps:
- While placing the order choose the option "Shop Pay".
- In the shopping cart, you can choose "Pay in installments" option instead of "Pay now".
- Check if everything is correct and click "Continue to payment plans".

what is processing time?
For creating we need about 14-21 business days. Once your painting is ready we will show you the photos of it and ONLY after your confirmation will ship it to you. In the case of Ready to ship painting, it is dispatched after a processing time of 2-3 days. Delivery takes 4-7 days from the moment of shipment.
We gladly work with your deadlines, please let us know if you need a painting for a specific date, and we will do our best to make it as fast as possible so you can receive it on time!
how do i track my order?
You receive a link with a tracking information from us once your shipment is dispatched. This allows you to keep track of your shipment.
do you accept order cancellation or returns?
We gladly accept returns, exchanges, and cancellations.
Cancellations:
We accept cancellations only within 24 hours after an order was made (at least due to different time zones).
- In case of cancellation after 24 hours after an order was made, buyers are responsible for all costs of used materials
- In case of cancellation after 2-3 days the order was placed, we are holding a charge of 10%
- In case of cancellation after 4 days and later the order was placed, we are holding a charge of 15%

Returns:
If you receive your painting and you don't like it, you can return it back to us. To return your item you should fill out the form on the Return Request page within 14 days after the delivery and ship it within 30 days after the order delivery. Please note that the buyers are responsible for the returning shipping costs. We will refund you only after we receive the painting and check if it is not damaged.
Unless the package is damaged and requires a return, we will refund the amount minus the 20% restore fee. You can be sure that we’ll do our best and help you to find a better solution that will suit you.
In case you do not accept delivery within 30 days after the day of the shipment, the painting will be disposed of. As a result, you will get a partial refund for your order.

what is the shipping time?
We provide worldwide delivery and ship all items via UPS, Fedex or DHL. Delivery usually takes 4-7 from the moment of shipment.
We ship paintings only after a client's confirmation of the photos of the artwork. Please note that buyers cannot change their delivery address once the order is shipped.
All paintings are packed carefully in a strong plastic tube, corrugated box or safe wooden box, it depends on the option that you want to get (unstretched or stretched).
We’ll provide you with all tracking information by email.
where will the delivery be from?
We are based in California. All paintings are done in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, US and shipped from here.
what shipping methods are available?
We uses only certified couriers (UPS, USPS, DHL, Fedex). Based on the size of the painting, the courier might vary.
do you offer expedited shipping?
Normally we do not offer expedited shipping plan. However, if you are specific time frame and you need to receive it urgently, please contact us via email to info@hyunahkimart.com, we will arrange your shipment.
do you ship internationally?
We ship worldwide. We has been shipped to 50 countries so far.
should I pay any custom fees?
According to our shop policy, buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. Our clients from the US don't pay any custom fees.

what if I receive a damaged painting?
If you receive a damaged painting, you can refuse the shipment. Or if a carrier just leave the package and they already left, you must take several photos of the damaged box, and please send that to email address of info@hyunahkimart.com within 48 hours, so we can immediately file a claim with the shipping company. Delivery company will need to see the box & painting photos to launch their investigation. You can be sure that all of our paintings are fully insured.
In the case if you receive a damaged product we're ready to create a new painting for free or refund the money back.
I see you are in Los Angeles, I live nearby, can I come to you to see the paintings personally?
I'm so sorry, but we don't have any public show room, and because we work in a very small studio, we don't have the space to show our paintings, so we can't show our clients our paintings. Please understand this.

what are the care instructions for my art?
- Please make sure that you clean your hands before handling any canvas.
- Never hang your canvas painting outside, in areas of high humidity or near any heat sources.
- Do not place anything on top of the canvas or lay your canvas with the front facing down.
- If you want to clean your painting from dust you may use the dry soft brush.
how to tighten a loose and saggy canvas painting?
If over years you notice that your canvas is starting to loosen up and sag, you can try the following:
- Spray an even, fine mist of clean or distilled water on the back of the canvas. The canvas should tighten up when it dries.
- Never use any chemical cleaners to clean your canvas painting.
